We're excited to announce that from October 22nd through November 6th we'll be hosting a Hurricane Relief Donation Drive for the residents of Lake Charles, Louisiana! It has been heartbreaking to witness the devastation that was caused by Hurricane Laura, and then just weeks later taking yet another hit from Hurricane Delta. So many people had their homes destroyed, and lost most, if not all, of their belongings. Residents are still in the process of trying to rebuild their lives, so in an effort to support and help in their recovery, the teams at Galindo Law and Houghtaling Law firms are uniting in a large charity drive for donation items that will be distributed to area residents on Saturday, November 7th! We will have volunteers on site helping to distribute all of the donated items, as well as gift bags of assorted goodies, too!
How to Get Involved
If you'd like to get involved or have items to donate, the majority of our items are being dropped off at our Houston office at 4151 Southwest Freeway, Suite 602, but you can also send a text message to 337-777-1000 if you're unable to deliver. Time allowing, we have staff members that we might be able to schedule a pick up from your location instead.
What to Donate
We're really looking forward to the opportunity to give back to our friends and neighbors in Lake Charles. We all know how every little bit counts at times like these! We hope for others to join the cause, too!
